Robert’s commitment to showjumping is lifelong.
Initially plying his trade under his father, Harvey Smith, Robert has made a name for himself in his own right with a show jumping career spanning three decades.
Individually fourth at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, he topped British Showjumping’s rider ranking list for three consecutive years and has represented his country in Nations Cup teams on over 100 occasions. As well as numerous World Cup Qualifiers, Grands Prix and Puissance competitions around the world, Robert won back-to-back British Open titles in 2005 and 2006.
